Dealer called and my 07 Z was unloaded last night! I rushed over to the dealer and got to see her all spiffed up. Its a MS fully loaded up. I said I wished I had been there to see them unload it and he said "no you didn't". " You would have been freaking out watching the process." He's probably right! I am not going to pick it up until Friday since its pouring rain here today. I will post some picks Friday!!! I can't wait to drive it...
She will be a WONDERFUL BEAST, so you might try learning her power before you stomp on her (some have unfortunately learned the hard way about how powerful they are).
I am really impressed with the paint quality. I was expecting lots of orange peel like my '03 Z06. Maybe because its silver and not black it just looks better, but the salesman said he thought the paint is much better on the new cars.
I ended up ordering from Lonestar 6 months ago and was waiting for an allocation at MSRP. They had one come in exactly as I ordered it and I ended up paying $1000 over. I was just sick of the wait. The availability is going way up now if you track the inventory. In six months I bet they will all be going for MSRP or less. I decided that it was worth paying a little more since my M3 trade in was going down in value by more than the premium I paid if I waited another 3 months.
