The thought of doing this has also crossed my mind. I also have money down on a BD/SS/ZR/Stingray thingymajigger. However, I'm not completely sold I'll get the beast or just buy it and turn it. There are many reasons in my little head but I am too tired and it is too late for me to elaborate.

Congratulations ! Tho the wait be long I an sure it will be worth it to have this awesome piece of automotive history. I am sure there are vette volunteers near you to make sure you get a fix every few weeks. Yeah I know...not often enough

i kept my z just incase. what is your dealer telling you,mine doesnt know price,date or what its called but my paper work calls it a SS
