Z06 hoods the Same as C6 hoods????

I was just told that there is no differance between a C6 hood and a Z06 hood. Is that true? Will all the aftermarket hoods that fit C6's fit on the Z06????

Thanks for your help,

Ernie

Re: Z06 hoods the Same as C6 hoods????

Just checked a couple of supplier sites. Seems the part numbers for the Z hood are the same as the standard car. Seem to be the same hood. Maybe you should hold out and get a polycarbonate clear one like the ZR1. hee hee Ugh.

Why did they go that route, to be like the Carrera GT, the ferrari's with a clear cover over their engine???

A complete CF with air vents would have been better.

Agree completely.

They claim something along the lines of clearance and low profile.
