Input needed

I own a 2007 Z06 that was just delivered a couple of weeks ago. The car will be modified at Lingenfelter next month to push 616-HP (as claimed by LPE).
I have already redesigned the car's emblem to reflect the change and called it Z06-R (616-HP).
The reason for relocating the emblem to the door was when I removed the original emblem, the fender had a whole where the Euro version marker/turn signal light goes. So I installled the euro lights and placed the emblem on the doors (I tried it below the light - it didn;t look as good.
Feel free to look at the emblem pic in my profile. If you like the design, please let me know. If you want a larger resolution image, send me an email and I'll be glad to send you one.

Can I assume that you are giving these emblems away free to all site members?

Mike

btw, isn't the GM racing teams' car a Z06-R ?

How about some pics? Get a close-up of the emblem and also how the car looks with the lights.

Sounds a little rice to me, but it's your car. Kinda like a Type R or something. The Z06 is something to be proud of, and I think that may take away from it. JMHO

Mike, I think the race car is just a C6R, but then again, I am not up on my racing lingo.

Sounds a bit cheesy to me to be honest.

Each to his own I guess.

Z06-r

I borrowed the R idea from the C6-R, which is the GM racing car. But then, I found out today that the 600-HP so-called Blue Devil, may not be called SS afterall, instead it's rumored to be labled Z06-R, according to Edmunds web site, as an 2008 model, which puts me ahead of the pack. The new emblem design is very subtle, nothing fancy. The emblem is basically graphite in color to match the competition gray wheels. I added an "-R" after the "6" (same letter style), and replaced the "505-HP" with "616-HP".

The mod costs about $5,500 and is done by Lingenfelter. I dont know how to attach pix on this site - Can anyone show me how, or whoever is interested in pics send me email address and I'll be glad to send pics.

The link is invalid. Here is the proper link to one of the pics.

http://www.z06vette.com/gallery/data...oseup1-med.JPG

The syntax to post an image looks similar to the following except replace the * with / and it will work

[IMG]http://www.z06vette.com/gallery/data/500/17153Z06-R_Closeup1-med.JPG[*IMG]

See below...

You can get the correct link to the picture that you want to post by going into your gallery, clicking on the picture, right mouse click on the picture, and the "Address:" is the correct link to add between the IMG tags. Hope this helps.

You're right about the name Edmunds has for the car. We had a thread on that topic showing what Edumnds was calling the car a few months ago.

As far as the appearance of the badge - I think it looks pretty good. Definitely want to hear about the car once Lingenfelter is done with it. Also, can you post pics showing the entire car to get an idea of how it looks overall with the new badge?

TIA,

Alex
