I thought you guys might get a kick out of this. Turns out those jack pines don't give very much. Anyhow my dad crashed this beauty, but walked away unharmed. He was back at work in one hour. I am pretty amazed with this cars safety.
Welcome to ... but somehow I didn't get a "kick" out of it.
Don't know when this happened but I hope you dad has not experienced any delayed problems
That is a scary picture!

I'm assuming there was no passenger. Things could have turned out very differently. Are you sure your dad would want you to be posting pictures of his accident online? I know wouldn't.
Glad he's ok. Welcome to the forum.

Yea, there really wasn't anything terribly funny about the whole thing. And it did happen a while ago, so no residual damage. And this picture is right from the internet, off of a local news paper, so its already been on the net.
That being said, I post this thread to make you guys think twice before you do something crazy. Nothing wrong with being crazy, but you always have to be smarter than crazy, not the other way around.
My fiancee had an argument with a tree while driving her 2001 dodge Viper GTS ACR......the tree won!
Fiancee was okay apart from a bang on the head, car was sent back to Florida where it is currently being rebuilt on a brand new frame, should be finished by August

That's why I track mine when I'm going to get it on. 505 hp needs to be respected. Only tree I see at the track is the one at the staging line. Your dad was very lucky.
