Are Zo6 deliveries late?

Our dealer notified it will be another month until our Zo6 arrives.
My husband ordered the Corvette over 9 weeks ago.

Has their been a production slow down or some problems reported at the factory?
Thank you for any replies.

Re: Are Zo6 deliveries late?

No. Your dealer is jerking you around. Most likely they didn't have allocation.

Re: Are Zo6 deliveries late?

Make them show you the Vehicle Order Event History. It's a computer printout from Bowling Green listing every change of status in the production of your car from the time the order is entered.

Sometimes a line pull due to a missing option from a supplier can put a car down the line. Check out the above, you should see any delays via codes.

Re: Are Zo6 deliveries late?

I placed an order a week ago and the dealership estimated for 4-5 weeks.

Re: Are Zo6 deliveries late?

We're now told it'll be in Wednesday.
If their's no monkey business with the promised pricing, we'll have it in the shop for the clea bra Thursday.

Otherwise we'll shop elsewhere.
Thanks for the takes and replies and PM's.

Does the nav pkg mean we get the heads up as well ?
Dealer has no clue.
Thanks.

Re: Are Zo6 deliveries late?

I think you get heads up nav arrows as part of the nav. Heads up comes standard on the Z.

Re: Are Zo6 deliveries late?

We got it and love it.
Rear window is pretty hard to see through, very blurry and distorted.
Kinda like looking at a fun house mirror.

Dealer isnt a busy Corvette house, so they weren't real sharp
demo-ing the features, but that's what the internet is for,, and of course, the owners manual.

Thanks for all the takes.
The new dbbl clutch for 2009 is awesome BTW.

Ok....please describe your Awesome Z06! And the ZR1 is the only vette that comes from the factory with the dual clutch.

Re: Are Zo6 deliveries late?

Wife spent the day with all the Corvette info, the CD,, nav,, Xm.. ect ect and programing our z06, the 1 & 2 keyless entry ect.

She is crazy about our z,, but thinks the voice comands are useless, and don't work so hot.
Funny as she describes it.

She is Swiss, and like most Swiss, speaks quite a few languages,
and has some funny stories about how that works with voice command, and performance and speed are in her Swiss blood.

So all this Z06 dogma is quite fun for her.
It is one fantastic car, one fantastic adventure.

Our son is in major Chemo with Hodgkins and she took him to PF Changs for lunch in the Z and was he ever floored.
She kicked the z in the ass a few times,, ahhh what the hey,, why not?
First trip out for him in 2 months.

Back with some You Tubes when time permits.
