I'm in the final stage of ordering the Z06. It has been set aside and will be deliverred (hopefully in April of 06'.) My question is: I believe I have finally settled on a exterior color - red. I am curious to know how the interior seats, carpets, dash etc. looks if they are black with red highlights? Does anyone have one this color? Can you post some pictures or explain how it looks? My dealer is still waiting for 06' literature and we have no idea what it will look like. Personally I do not want an overwhelming red interior.
There are online pic's of this exact combination at corvetteconti.com. He is showing recent deliveries and there is a pretty good picture of this. Hope this helps you in your choice!

There is a specific Red exterior/ Black w/ red accents picture under "Z06's are being delivered". I tried to copy it in but my computer skills are lacking!
I have seen all 3 options in person at Carlisle. I ordered the victory red exterior color, and agonized over the interior options. The ebony has red stitching and is ok. The red/ebony has red panels that are nowhere the victory red color. They are either closer to burgundy or brick red, and look out of place when you open the door, and see the sill of vehicle in victory red with the contrasting red (could be maroon) of the seat side boltsters. I went with the titanium as it doesn't clash with the red exterior at all, and viewed in person seems to be harmonious with the interior trim. I have a C5 in torch red with ebony interior, and didn't want a car that looked exactly the same. I even got the painted wheels that I think will meld with the titanium inserts and the red exterior color so that nothing looks particularly out of place. Personally I would have preferred a tan/honey leather interior trim option (ala the Italian idiom) to complement the red exterior. Unfortunately Chevrolet is completely tone deaf on interior trim. All the 3 choices up close and personal are worse than the standard C6 choices which have some nice combinations. If they wanted Z06 unique interior options they should have burned a few BTU's concocting them. I personally can't imagine a color blind individual doing worse than what the Z06 team did on interior options. I am making no disparaging comments on the choice of materials or finish. That is a separate area of discussion. I have to believe that anybody with the slightest sense of color coordination could have exponentially better than they did, at no additonal production cost. I know this is sacreligious to say anything unflattering about the ultimate gm performance paradym; I ordered one, will drive it like I stole it, and be happy when it is delivered, but I am not color blind or devoid of all sense of style. If team Corvette came up with this through focus groups or great reflection, I must be on a different planet. I really think they paid zero attention to this detail.
I don't think the red with black goes well with the silver dash/console trim. To much interior color. I prefer all black but the gray seat trim matches better than the red.
Excuse me for not answering. I wasn't notified (gotta fix that!) Thank you for the feed back. I agree the red trim interior looks kinda....well....out of place. It does not seem to match.
I think I'll go for an all black interior.
BTW, it was ordered today for spring delivery...I'm targeting early May. I can't wait. I've been waiting for this moment practically all of my life. I believe it goes back to the age of 5.
