I'm going for loaded version or not at all. Probably not more than 30 pounds different in the weight if that much and as far as cost, another 50 dollars more a month in the car payment.

2LZ for me -- What's the point of spending 60k not to get all the goodies?

I think GM is dead wrong in saying that 70% of Z06's will be 1LZ to 30% 2LZ

Well let's see how our poll comes out....

It's too bad that GM doesn't offer "delete" options for various items like DJ pointed out. Personally, I would delete most items other than AC since I live in a hot, humid location. I would add some of the more performance based items such as long tube headers, CAI, wheels & tires. I am not interested in things like HUD, everlost navigation, run flats, heated seats, telescoping steering or other luxury items.

1LZ w/ upgraded stereo and XM. Already too much fluff and the 2LZ is only fluffier.

Well lets see, hmmm, loaded, sorry I'm gonna rip out the exhaust for some ss coated equal length headers and 3" good cats and keepin those neat mufflers, and a 3.90 gear on Day 1. Which really sucks as the new Z has a different diff case so have to rip it out and wait for a rebuild, two weeks, with exteme sniviling maybee a week. And if I start driving it will not wan't to part with it. Nice thing about stick vettes no ECM hassles with diff gear changes. As Auto stuff freaks out the ECM.
Oh yea, life is good.

2LZ for me, if I'm paying that kind of money, I will just get it fully loaded since I'm not going to track it.

2LZ = side impact airbags. This is the only reason I would spend the extra money.
