Haven't heard.
I'll be at the C5/6 Registry Birthday Bash in BG next month, and we should get more info then.

To gsjack's question..

When I was at the Wixom Performance Build Center in December on a tour and they were building 30 engines per day Not counting service builds, that would be 7500 in 50 weeks. According to Dave Hill who was present at the time, the bottleneck was actually the fenders, the source for which was working 3 shifts to make that quantity. I don't know if that ever got relief.

However, it looks like, if the figure quoted by Zippy is correct (should be), they may now building at a sightly higher rate.

Yes, the PBC is building at a higher rate.... 10-12 hour shifts, 6-7 days a week.

Hello people - I moved to Europe and this is my first post or login in almost a year! The return of the a Prodigal Son! I think the lower production number is also influenced by the price and the fact that C6 Z's will inevitably be more "rare" than C5s. I think that is great. I love my 2002, but so many were sold every C5 year that they aren't quite as "special". I'm conflicted between being happy that I had the Z at the price paid, but the fact that the base C6 is in striking range in many/most ways and the C6 Z is such a clearly different/unique sled is pretty cool.... I'll be back in the US in a few months and will DEFINITELY add to my 10k miles! Glad to be back - hello to old friends and new folks as well
