2007 Z $10,000 more?

Is this true or just more BS from a car salesman? My guess is BS.

I hope not, if it is, I guess I'll be getting a regular vette and modding it. Not paying 80 grand for it. I bet he is just saying that, since that's what the market value will still be.

i rather pay $10,000 more for it vs paying over sticker. Paying over sticker is just a loss in a few months. KBB tracks sticker price not purchase price.

Thats a good point!! But still think it should stay the same, unless they add something to it. The thing is, if GM raises the price 10 g's, then the dealers will mark it up 15 more, which now makes it a 100000 sports car

Whatever the market will bear.

If the car is worth 100K people will pay it, if the car is worth 80k thats what people will pay. There is no magic premium over sticker. its not just a standard sticker +$10,000.

correct, but right now since the demand is high, and supply is low, if they raise the price 10, the market value goes up 25 i bet, oh well. guess time will tell.

Never going to happen. $300-400 increase max, this is my guess.

If the MSRP increased by $10K in one model year - with no commensurate increase in vehicle content, then it would mark a precedent as far as I know. So I would take this report with a big grain of salt.

Probably a rumor. From everything I've heard Chevrolet has not leaked any MSRP numbers for the '07 Vette.

So far, all I'm hearing is they changed the color options (added white and changed the orange from '06). If anything else changed, I can't imagine it being major. I'm expecting to see a new ashtray door design! Maybe also a change in seats (i.e. more adjustments?).

I can't imagine the MSRP going up by more than $1,000 if anything.

"price will drop soon".....NOT

I have been reading these posts for months...the ones that say "paying over sticker will be over soon", Q1 2006, then Q2 2006, etc.

News Flash... it wont stop this year... not til 2007 and late 2007 at that. There are NO CARS for the people willing to pay. If you subscribe that the frenzy will be over soon...you are wrong, and you will be waiting... I don't like it either, but it is true...at least another year.

This just in....used Z06's will start showing up soon too..and guess what....sticker or above for them too.

You;ll see... just the way it is.
Thanks
sam

Think i'll wait for the 08's to hit the market. Many low mile 07's will be flooding the market then.
