640 rwhp N/A

Just saw a thread over at the "other" site of a "built" C6-Z done by a non-forum member company (I won't mention the name, but they are located in Long Island ). The car made 640 rwhp...pretty amazing. Now that is some sick power from this 427.

Agreed Don. It still amazing to me that Nascar "stock" cars generate 800 -850 HP with a 358 cu in push rod motor and a carb.

Nope...all motor. But I just read a reply from the tuner and it was done with a 13:1 CR on the heads/pistons. This is a "race gas" only car...sorry, not for me.

They tune each cylinder for max power, not with a pcm, but the other way around. Piece by piece to match the single carb setting.

Don't forget. They don't have roller cams so we are talking about some serious valve springs and a well though out valve train to rev that high and stay together. I see it every week and am still amazed that they stay together.

Even more amazing are the 3.0 F1 engines from last year that made 900hp NA. They bumped them down to 2.6L so they only have about 750hp.
