Aiming the Headlights

Hello, I'm new to the forum ... just bought a new Atomic Orange Z about 10 days ago and am loving it. My question is how can I aim the headlights? The manual says to "see the dealer" about it. They seem to be pointed waaaay down right now. Probably so that when there is a trunk full of luggage they aren't too high.

Thanks!

Re: Aiming the Headlights

open the hood, find the lifting strutts.at the center of them look at hole in inner fenderwell [the highest] it takes an allen wrench [i forget what size] with lights on shinning on wall turn allen key and watch where the beam goes.a half turn makes a diff. i dont believe there is a left/right adj. mine were too high and i just made the half turn adj. mine is an07 z but it should be the same

Re: Aiming the Headlights

Normally they do this when the low beams are HID as they are so bright they can really blind an oncoming driver. The top of the beam his made to be horizonal and when you flip on the brights, they fill in the area above the horizontal line.

I'm not sure how to adjust them. I may go out and check on my car in a few minutes.
