Allocations?

Is there anyway to find out how many allocations a dealer has?

I want to make sure my dealer is not pulling my leg.

Ask to see his allocation letter that all Chevrolet dealers receive.

My dealer showed me the letter also, outlook sucked......why don't they make a few more?????

I'm shopping around to find the right dealer with an allocation while paying MSRP. I had a mano-y-mano with one who told me that this year's letters are not out yet. Dealers can look into the system to find estimates, which are accurate in the short term (next month), but no one know's what they're getting in terms of an allocation in June for example.

I'm under the impression that dealers should receive a 2nd allocation letter that's there allocations through June. And then there is another allocation letter for the start of the 07's in July.. Does anyone know if that is correct?
