The original LS7 was a 6.4 liter.
This years change in rules for the GTS class states in part that you have to have a production car with the same displacement. If not for this rule change the Z06 would have been a 6.4 vs. the 7.0.
Just as the L88 had to be a prodution engine and the 302 in the F-Body.
What if all of these "leaked" photos and all of this "leaked" information was in fact from GM to throw everyone off the trail?
Motor Trend says it will be a 6.3L, Car & Driver says it's a 7.0L. I say none of us know for sure until Chevrolet shows it to us.

It will be a 7.0. My friend saw the car and he said he saw the engine in the car and it was a 427! Damn you people are hard to convince..
..are you SURE???

Thanks. If the bore stays the same I'd imagine the flexibility to change displacement, or at the least the willingness to, late in the game would be higher.
