another observation after washing the car

I finished washing the washing and waxing the car last night and thought I might look the air filter. I noticed that there was a small puddle of water just below the air filter assembly and that the filter had a dry "wet" spot on the bottom of the filter. I assume from the water build up and the filter drying afterward. A little bit disturbing but I'm sure it's from the air intake from the nose is where the water is coming from. Took out the dremel a drilled 3 small holes; two on each side and one in the middle. The puddle just drained right out. Has anyone else noticed this puddle before?

it's either that or have the water build up. I know that it's from washing the car (spraying near or around the nose intake). Just imaging if you were driving in the rain. The holes are small and not noticeable.
