Classic Chevrolet in Moorestown, NJ. I wonder if prices went up since Moorestown was called the "Best Town in the USA" recently. Maybe T.O. will buy one after he sells his home ($4.4M) seeing he got the boot from the Eagles.
One is listed at $96k and another listed as "call".
No dealer pics, only stock photos so I am guessing the car has not arrived yet.
I tried to place an order for a zo6 today and after reading about mark up prices on the corvettes I thought I was ready for it. how wrong was I. showed up to the dealer expecting to pay a bit more to get the z but I was shocked when he told me it will coast me $110,000 I am not from the US but the prices on the other GM cars are pretty close to the ones in the US the problem is this we only have 1 certified GM dealer in the country and some of the corvettes have been sold 4 that price. I really want a corvette so do u think I should pay that much 4 it or will prices go down pretty soon and wait for the right time
Definitely wait unless you want to be the first guy on the block w/ a new Z.
I got my '02 Z in Dec 2004 for $35,350 with ONLY 500 miles on it (no typo on mileage). It had $1400 in tire upgrades, cross-drilled/slotted Baer Eradispeed 2-peice rotors, 18" fronts, and chrome OEM rim style.
For something that cost $52,000 (plus ~ $5000 in mods) new I think I made out well.
I plan to wait 3 years and trade up for another extremely low mileage C6 Z when it hits the $40k's.
Well, Classic Chevy in Moorestown, NJ finally has one on their lot. It happens to be the "cheaper" of the three they have listed.
Red/Ebony - $85,300
Black/Grey (not there yet) - $96,595
Blue/Ebony (not there yet) - CALL (aka....out of my league)
<<< $23k - $24k over MSRP >>>
A buddy of mine is in the used Z market. I saw one on the lot last week. On Thursday we went over at 1PM to check it out. THe website had it listed as 9k miles for ~$33k so he was interested. We got there and the sticker was still ~$33k, but the miles were 24k...big difference plus the drivers seat was well abused.
We checked out the other coupes/verts for 15 minutes and not one salesman came outside. That is the first time I have ever stepped foot on a lot w/o a salesman being on me like a hawk.
When I went to another dealer last Dec to check out my Z the salesman was on me in 2 minutes, let me take the car for a drive, gave me what I wanted on my trade and even gave me two days to think about the final price on the Z w/o hassling me. That was a good deal...people skills and good numbers win every time.
Stopped at a local Dodge dealer Saturday to look at the new Daytona Charger for my wife. They had a $2500 dealer profit mark-up on the window! After I saw that I refused to even talk to a salesman. Not like these are rare, hard to find cars! I average buying 2 or 3 cars a year and this dealership will never see any of my business!
