anti-dive does the Z06 have this?

If so, how is it implemented?

Anti-dive is usually implemented via a specific suspension geometry. The factor that affects the effect is the relation between the upper and lower control arm's pivot points.

I can't imagine why GM wouldn't have designed in some anti-dive in to the C5. It's in common enough use on other passenger cars.

It probably has some designed in, but everything's relative.

Now, if they'd get the mag ride suspension beefed up to the point it can handle the demands of competition...

At least, they said that was the reason they didn't use it.

I'd be inclined to believe them.

The shocks get pretty hot in competition, and even assuming the oil can take it (since it's not "normal" oil, it's magnetic, it might not be as good at higher temp), and the strength of electro-magnetic effects can be degraded by high temperatures.
