I have a rattle in the exhaust and a squeak on the right that sounds like a break wear indicator. The dealer has a new exhaust on order, but they have to come from the plant (none in stock). I have not taken it in for the squeak yet but will this weekend.
Every time the car is warm and I'm sitting at a light, it sounds like the exhaust is going to fall out it rattles so much. Very embarrassing. Then I take off, and the breaks squeak. Sure sucks when people look at you and point. It’s really bad now that the weather has turned and people have their windows open…
Oh well, it should be fixed soon… I'm done venting.

Just some minor ones.....clutch shudders occasionally, interior rattles somewhere around or in dashboard and in rear under the mat. I took it in last week for 1,000 mile oil change and they said there was a leak in the differential. Will take it in this week for repair. Other than that, it's good to go.....fast.
Well, I pulled all the tires off today and cleand and inspected everything. I noticed a rock in the right rear and that is what caused the noise. Thank God. My dealer called and the muffler parts are in. The car goes in next week for a new mufler...
mine shudders also but only when i am going in first gear and have to like make a slow turn where i press in the clutch as i'm turning and re engage it. then the second time i engage it it shudders. i have the marbles in a can 1st and 2nd also, after that they go away. someone says its the shift knob but i doubt that.
The "can of marbles" - though annoying - has nothing to do with the shifter - it actually has to do with vibration inside the gearbox itself. It's a well known phenomenon - particularly with larger gearboxes - and is called gear rattle. It is nothing to worry about, just a characteristic noise. I have not heard a Tremec box without it.
One way to eliminate it is to tune it out with a dual-mass flywheel, which actually allows torsional damping by "sandwiching" a rubber element between an initial flywheel at the crankshaft, and a second one interfacing with the clutch. This generally slightly reduces acceleration times from a stop because of a lag effect and additional flywheel total mass. GM decided performance was more important in a Corvette, and I agree.
BTW - I have also noted a slight engagement shudder - could be caused by Lt's of things including engine mount tuning. I've slightly modified the way I engage the clutch & it's OK now.
Luckily no other issues with the car yet - but only just gettin'er broken in since Spring has arrived.......
