Anybody else have this problem?

I cannot detect a dramatic change in exhaust note from 0 to 6000 rpm except for slight volume increase from higher rpm. No valve-opening new kind of exhaust tone. Car is always very quiet. Is something wrong with my car?

Thanks.

I can hear mine change but it all depends on your hearing. I'd pull the exhaust fuse and see if it makes a difference.

is it a dramatic change? In a Ferrari 360 Stradale or a new f430, the exhaust is very noticeably louder once the valves open. the Z is supposed to sound like straight pipes when the valve opens (according to the magazines), but I have yet to hear anything like that.

I can hear it. It's more like it changes tone rather than getting so much "louder"

Try putting it in 2nd, driving at a speed that gets you up to about 3000rpm. Then SLOWLY accelerate up around the 3500 range. You'll hear it.

It is NOT a dramatic change. Matter of fact, you can hear a greater differentiation at lower RPMs than high.

It does'nt come close to sounding like straight pipes. Way to tame IMO. I'll be inline for a set of LT's & a cat back when available..

Are you listening Lou??????
