attach an iPod?

Anyone know if the bose stereo with navigation has an auxillary input for something like an iPod? If it doesn't, GM ought to tell it's supplier to add one quick.

yeah, as a last resort (or perhaps a stopgap measure if I get impatient - maybe a trip to bestbuy today since I don't think I'll be able to wait).

The radio has MP3 capabilities. I used to use my ipod but this works better. I just burned a cd with itunes in MP3 format. I have about 150 songs on one cd. Cool huh?

I should mention that it is the 06 Z06 that has this capability.

so you just copy the songs to a CD in mp3 format? Anything else you need to do in terms of formatting the disk?

I use a blank CD. I load itunes. It has a place where it allows you to switch the format to MP3 for importing. Then I import the music I want. I make a playlist and copy the songs I want to the playlist; then I just put the playlist on the CD. Piece 'o cake. :=)

I have been looking into this a bit, and I think there is a nice soulution.

On past corvettes, you could buy a CD changer interface cable for connection to a sony alpine, or kenwood changer, then from that interface you can get an ipod adaptor.

so its kind of a workaround, but it should get past the frequency loss of an FM modulator.

I use a phatnoise music keg http://www.phatnoise.com/
for my mp3s and plan to make it work in my vette once I get it.

That' worked great. It's not exactly the same as having ipod access but 130 songs is pretty darn good on 1 cd. Thanks for the tip. Didn't know it could do that. Also nice to be able to see the names of all the songs and select from them. Another reason to get navigation!!
