Does anyone here have the aft-cat Bassani exhaust? I've been searching for an exhaust solution for months now, and have finally found one that I really like from preliminary "inspection."

Any opinions of this exhaust?

Well I ordered it for $855.00 shipped. Should be here sometime next week and will be installed next weekend. I'll keep this thread updated with pictures and sound clips as well

Since everyone seems soo interested in this topic

I have an update.

I got the exhaust installed the other day and I'm speechless. It performs beyond my wildest dreams. I'll hopefully have vids up soon.
It is relatively quiet at idle, but SCREAMS when you get on it. However, 6th gear cruising is quite comfortable and quiet.

I recommend this exhaust to anyone and everyone on the market for an exhaust.

I'd love to see/hear some clips of your new exhaust! I'm not the happiest with my B&B Fusion after living with the problems for a couple months. From sticking valves, to drone in 6th, to low hanging mufflers hitting the transaxle, etc., I wish I'd never bought my B&B...

Sorry to hear that you had those problems. I was really close to getting the BB's. Sure glad that I didn't...

But don't get me wrong; this exhaust is LOUD. Closest thing to straight pipes IMO. But I've been around loud exhausts my whole life and love it.

My camera died the other day, and I'm now out of town for a while. So unfortunately I wont be able to get one for a while. However, I promise you that the moment I get back in town, I'll take one showing every aspect of it.

The Bassani cat back was tested almost two years ago and it yielded 17whp and 14lb-tq. Do a search on vette magazine(google it) and you will see it.

I was going to get it as well(the Bassani) but I am concern about drone.

Me too! I've seen a clip with a C5Z, with ORP. Sounded pretty nice, when he got on it.

I have a full Bassani exhaust on my '02 Z w/ the single muffler. I love the way it sounds on decel. It pops like open headers. The drone is most noticeable around 2k rpm. Sound is nice in the upper rpm range.

So the drone at 2k is at what speed. I am thinking of having a Bassani or Corsa kit put on my new LE 427 prior to delivery, then driving form Florida to Kentucky to break her in. Yet I dont want 1000 miles of drone to deal with...
