C6 carbon fiber rear spoiler and side skirts

in the market to add a full width carbon fiber rear spoiler and side skirts, already have the front splitter on the car.

added the splitter when the car started to "float" above 160mph. splitter solved that issue.

seems to be many choices on the market, but its difficult to really see how they look from a web site pic. and performance gains are really difficult to quantify from sales speak on a web site.

looks are important, but i also need more downforce at high speed for the track. i have ruled out the aft "wing". although i like the way they look and perform, its just to gaudy and showy for driving around town.

the katech solutions look ok in the web pics, as do the ones from APR

what do you guys have installed?

how do they rate for performance and looks?

thanks in advance

Re: C6 carbon fiber rear spoiler and side skirts

When I had my 08Z that was my complaint also, floating above 160. Got scarier from that point on. I didn't expect that coming from the C5Z. I was considering the ZR1 front splitter, and was told that I should run the rear spoiler also as they worked together correctly at speed. I would be concerned about having different products w/ different downforces upsetting the balance at high speed. Too much downforce can also be a problem. I agree a wing is a ticket magnet along w/ being a bit much on a cool car. It's not a Honda...LOL
