C6 Z06 shifter

Does anyone know how the C6 Z06 shifter is going to be like, i was thinking about a future swap with from 04 Z, i have an after market shifter on right now but its too stiff.

I also had a Hurst. In my opinion you won't need to change the shifter in the C6 Z06. It is not perfect but it is a lot better than the C5.

Although I only have limited experience with the C6 Zee shifter, I find it to be smoother, easier than the C5. I used to miss the 2 to 3 shift on the C5, but not once so far with the C6.

Are the throws shorter at all? .. Do you guys know if the C6 Z06 shifter is going to be different then just a regular C6's..and when will the Z06 shifter be available for ordering..

Throws are defintely shorter than the C5 and I think a bit more positive...agree with Zippy's observations on the 2nd to 3rd...had the same problem in my C5.It does feel different from an 05C6 I drove,but not sure if it's a different shifter.Whatever it is,missed shifts are now definitely the driver's fault.
