I would just run two lug nuts up, and spin the wheel while the car is still off the ground, see if it hits anything and then put the rest of the nuts on, drop it down. If nothing rubs then there ya go. The offsets on the OE wheels might be diffferent, but aftermarket ones might still fit. If ya'll want call the shop tomorrow and if we're not busy come in and I'll do it for him.

The thing is ... he doesn't have them. I have a set that we could put on to see if they'd fit ... I'll let you know.
I was on the way to come in to see you today ... but that blackness that came over the city scared me and I turned around and got my car in the garage. Reason I was coming by ... I think my wheel weights came off on one side. When I was driving to San Antonio the other day ... I was getting that rythmic vibrating thing. I'll come by tomorrow ...
One more thing I just remembered ... when I first put the CCW drag pack on ... Jay had to grind down something on the A-Arm ... if I remember correctly. I think it was the a-A-Arm ... does that sound right.

Yes, it does require some grinding on the outside lip/edge of the ball joint.
Kat made a great 'how to' post on this a while back (with pics). I'll see if I can find it and post it up.
If I find it, you'll have to tell me more about the 'Rythmic vibrating' you're feeling. Sounds interesting
I'll be there all day tomorrow so come in whenever. I think the grinding is required to fit the smaller wheels, and like someone else said it might not clear his brakes (didnt think about that) ttys
Will the CCW Classic drag pack for the C5 fit the C6Z?
I'm trying to help Jack with his tire delimea ...
Thanks in advance guys!!!
No!
It takes some minor grinding to fit 16 inch rims on the c5Z.
It takes alot of grinding and adjustment to fit a 16 inch rim on a c6(non-Z). Plus you have to take into account the squat on the launch and the tire pressure.
So, If the c6Z has less clearance then the reg. c6 it won't make it.
An alternative is to put 17 inch et streets on the rear. They should fit.
