Caliper bolts

Anyone know what size socket I need for the caliper bolts? I assume torque should be 120lbs, same as C5?

Need to pull off the calipers to replace my pads - gotta be something wrong with that but better than stripping 1/2 of my pad pins.

Thanks for any help here.

21mm socket

Torque spec for the caliper bracket bolts is 125 ft-lbs.
Silver Bolts which you unbolt to take off the Calibers are 23 ft-lbs

Taking the caliper off the car is the fast way of replacing the padlets. Who wants to take out all those Allen-head padlet screws?

Thanks for the info.

What silver bolts are you referring to? The pad bolts?

Allen Screws??? Padlets??? If you are talking about a C5 Z06 I am confused. If this is a C6 thing, then it sounds liks a PITA to change brake pads.

More difficult to change pads on a C6 Z06. However, the result of much fatter rotors and multi-pot monoblock calipers is worth the time. I still don't stop on a track as well as some GT3's I've been in, but much much better than my C5 Z06.
