The Canadian price of $104,000 is includung 15% in taxes.
You would have to work backwards from the base price which is 89900 + 1300+ 100=$91,300conversion to U.S.= $66,000

$91K is about $75K US.

Is the base price with the 1LZ package or 2LZ?

When I ordered mine the only way you can order it in Canada is with 2LZ. Options are Nav., Polished Wheels, Colors etc.

As I had posted earlier I got an e-mail from GM and it stated that officially the price will be announced next week.I think the 89,900 is still a guess, but probably very close.

I just called my dealer, he said that is the price! I am waiting for them to call me back with the fully optioned pricing...they priced it pretty fairly for us.

Doesn't this sound familiar?:

I just got the confirmation from my dealer of the internal GM Canadian memo stating pricing of $89900 for the 1SA. Destination etc. extra There was no option pricing included in the memo.

According to my dealer the memo mentioned that production began in July 2005.

Order extra Prep H for me. Based on current exchange rate the US dollar base car works out to less than $77K Cdn which means we pay at least 12 grand more for the car in Canada.
