Cha-ching!!!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...74803 65&rd=1

I can't believe this! A guy is simply selling his AGREEMENT to purchase a C6 Z06 at MSRP and the bid is already over $25k with 5 days remaining. Surely people must be confused when bidding so much. If not 50 people on this forum would be over on Ebay now cashing in a very healthy deposit on a later C6 Z06. I guess there is a lot of truth to the following - "a fool and his money soon part."

A lot of those type of auctions are confusing to the glassy eyed "didn't do well in reading comprehension" croud.

Many think that they are bidding on the car itself and NOT "X" amount OVER MSRP.

You will usually see some bid retractions after someone tells the poor schmuck(s) what he / they did, or the item is relisted with more explicit instructions.

Already a bid retraction. Guy only has a "1" feedback rating.....I'd be leery.

I think much much too early to try and start the $$$$ over MSRP stuff since the car isn't out yet, let alone unveiled by the General!

Looks like the bid is now $2000. You'd think someone bidding on a car would at least read the whole ad. Anyway, I think the whole concept of trying to make money off of EBay on something you don't own is pretty damn sleazy....
