Some have been saying that that is a "bogus" "dealer".

If the "mega" dealers don't know, i find it hard to believe that a pissant would know the MSRP. I say the winner never gets the car or NOT at that price.

All I can say is at $60 or $65K for a Z, there will be a lot of people leasing and not buying.
I looked in to a few used Vipers, and everyone came of a lease.

Believe me we have no idea what the price is going to be at this time. But my guess is at least $70K. It might be a while before we know the true price of the new car. We didn't get prices on the C6 until the middle of last June.

Tallmadge, Ohio has a Star Chevrolet INC. DBA: Serpentini Chevrolet.

Whether they placed the ad or not is not something I'm aware of.

It appears the purchaser is responsible for shipping and handling... maybe the handling fee will $8K - $10K...??

Pricing has definately not been released yet on C6 Z06.

XLR, I think you are right . "Bidding begins at sticker"

That's a lot of extra money to be one of the first to get one. Must be one of those frightened Viper owners.

The start price was $55K....maybe he was inferring that $55K would be the sticker price

Even if the dealer thinks he "fooled" someone there's no way the guy will pay. NOBODY is that stupid. Honestly, when I read bidding begins at sticker it infers the price starts at sticker.

More nonsense about the price:
Considering the Z16 was 57k, I think 65k is pretty close to real.

Too bad the car looks like its been rear-ended. EWE!
