I have read the fronts are basically the same as a C5, not sure about the back? I think Norm described lowering his C6Z in an earlier thread on this site.
I have my 01 lowered LOW, and even being VERY careful, I have still scraped the lower rocker panels.
I may lower my C6Z a little, but doubt I will go real low.
Guys:
Don't know if the C6 is the same.
What you have above is front and rear lowering on stock bolts ( link I provided) and procedure for cutting front bolts to lower further ( link Baron provided).
For rear ... to lower more than stock bolts allow, you need longer bolts. I believe the stocks are ~ 6: so folks go with 8" Grade 8 bolts I believe. There are threads here that specify. It is just a remove and replace process.
With any lowering, after driving it enough (30 - 150 miles, one day to one week ... depending on who's talking) for the car to "settle" into the new position, need to get an alignment.
Instead of replacing the rear bolts with longer ones, all I did was cut 1/3 of the bushing off( on both the upper and lower) and reinstall. This way if you want to raise it back to stock, you only have to get ne w bushings ( and just by tightening the bolts you can get it back to stock specs). I have not had a good look at the rear of a C6, so not sure if this will apply)
