Craig and FRC TOM=Road Warriors

They drove up from Sarasota yesterday and arrived at 11:30 last night..we met up and closed down Hooters and then another estblishment next door..it was probably around 2 in the morning when we called it quits ..I was surprised that they got to the store a little after nine AM..but when you are picking up your new Z06 you are motivated to say the least..The new car was looking fantastic..black with ebony\red bolsters interior..this was the car that I had the standard wheels sent out and chromed..IMO it looks great..I need to post up these photos that I took so everyone can see the car..This was the second Corvette that Craig had purchased from me...he was pretty excited when he got the 05 C6 Z51 coup..but he was long past that on the new Z...these cars look so good in person..photos do not do them justice at all..the first thing they did was pull the fuse marked "spare" and disable the flap on the muffler..the car sounds much better to me with the flap open all the time..It has not rained here in a month and of course the days that they had to travel up and back to Sarasota with the new car it raining cats and dogs..these guys are really a couple of road warriors..they hit road with a smile on their faces..they were wishing that they could come across some dry highway to test out the performance of the new car..If any one is going the show down at Eckler's Craig will be there with the new car for all to see..I wish I could make that show but I'll be up at the Corvette Expo in Knoxville next weekend..anyway for all of you motorist in Florida.. beware there is a low flying object headed south..

Steve,
I just got off the phone with Craig & Tom for the umpteenth time since they left your dealership! You are right... they are like two kids in a candy shop. I don't know who's more excited....Craig or Tom? Craig just keeps saying "Ty..this car is more than what the articles are saying....it is un-real". Craig is pretty level headed when it comes to performance expectations. When he tells me that he is SURPRISED by the performance and it's more than he expected.....all i can say is Oh boy. When can I pick me up one!!!

They're in Florida now heading South and the last words mentioned to me where...... "Ty, listen to this and all I heard was holy #$%#@* from Tom....this thing flies "

Steve:

It looks like Mon or Tues day before I get the car back. Considering a dyno before/after immediately after it's retuned.

Will post pics, and full review of what's been going on this past week.
