Yes, I do have a Vette Doctors Custom Cam. I had them do their RX450 package to my car last June. Car is kicking out 466Rwhp . Car is amazing to drive.
Also check with TryNkeepUp. She just took delivery of the Vette Doctors RX450 Package. I believe they got 451 Rwhp out of her 1999 A4.
Both cars are used for Road Racing at Watkins Glen and both cars are very Streetable. Both Heads/Cam packages were designed with Road Racing in mind!!
VDP is the place to go!!!!!!!!

Barry is 100% right on! I just picked up my 451rwhp 99 A4 coupe from the Vette Docs.........the RX450 package is GREAT! My cam is just slightly more aggressive than Barry's, but aside from that we have the same setup - he's got the MN6 and has me by about 15hp.
The Vette Docs did an AMAZING job and made sure it was done right! They are beyond professional and their attention to every little detail is amazing!! I wouldn't recommend you go anywhere else. As for the car.......well it's a BEAST!

Whatever you do, don't believe the bs that is floating over CF about weak rockers on these cars. Any reputable cam package will come with springs and as long as a shop is competent and careful a cam swap is not a major proceedure. Where the real difference comes in is with the tuning, as this makes or breaks a car. I have seen good and bad posts on every corvette-related forum about any and every vendor you can think of.
VD has a solid reputation, but you might be closer to ECS which might be easier for follow-up work. I have found that no matter who does the work, you will always need some touch-ups down the road, and you have decide if it's better to schlep to VD or a tuner closer to you. Honestly, I really think that all the tuners are about the same at the end of the day. Of course, I use a no-name guy for my work, just because after using 2 of the smaller corvette-related shops I had mediocre results.
I have a Katech cam in my car. Great cam, but it's just a compcams grind with off-the-shelf springs (albeit twice the price since I ordered it from Katech). Good combo, very happy with it.
