Does museum delivery speed delivery?

Just wondering if this cuts down on the standard delivery time. Would think it would because the plant is right there but not sure.....

I was actually wondering the same thing, since I've ordered museum delivery.

I would think that the bigger "issue" is simply organizing all of the individual tours.....I can't imagine what the hold up would be for "shipping" it.

My experience is no. You still have to go thorugh the local dealer and he's in que like every other dealer. The NCM on-site pick-up is a process in itself. They run through ever feature and button the vette has. Expect to spend at least 1 + hours going over this. I just wanted to get in and drive.

actually the museum does it's own PDI now but they can only deliver so many a day and if it gets backed up you wait until you can get a slot.

I was simply referring to the time from when the car is done being produced to it's delivery to me. Which is faster - museum or through dealership. I just thought maybe museum might be faster due to lack of travel time.
