Drag Radials

Can anyone here share the Intelligence on running drag radials on a C6 Z06? What's available for stock wheels, or do I have to go down to 18's?

Thanks

Down to 18s--or up to 20s

I had to get 18" x 12" for my C6 Z06. No such animal as a 19" drag radial. I was lucky to find the rims. I'm running a set of Nitto's. 335-30-18". Combination works well. Keep in mind my car sits 1" lower now in the rear end with these tires/rims. Good luck finding a set and you'll need a 12" wide rim.

Re: Drag Radials

Thanks for the info. So it seems that there isn't currently a way to put an identical rear wheel on with drag radials. I wanted to just keep a semi stock look, but have some additional traction...............although with the way my stock clutch acts up sometimes, I don't doubt that the clutch will be the next thing in line that needs upgrading.

Re: Drag Radials

Just looked at a post asking if 345/30/19's would fit the stock wheels of a C6 Z06. The answer was 'yes' and I had been looking to find some drag radials, but none to be found in 325/30/19. Looking up the 345/30/19's, I find that Hoosier makes some in that size. These would obviously be a bit taller and not ideal as it will effectively raise (lower numerically) the rear gear ratio, but I don't really want to buy new wheels as I like the stock look.

Anyone out there tried these? You can find information on the Hoosiers at Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels if you search by Size.

Thanks
