GM Z06 Release 2/8 says "Race ready valve releifs"

The new release I saw posted on the other forum is really neat in that the term "Race ready valve reliefs". That could be the last draw back in the "cam from hell". This car is ready for a non-emmision race cam. 650 hp is a swap away.

Based on your assumption ... you are basically saying that GM designed the new Z06 motor with only a VE of about 77%, and by just throwing in a cam it's gonna breath 23% better. I highly doubt it ... but you can sure dream.

I think the intake and exhaust paths do more to hurt the VE than the cam that GM used.
