What is it that you want the "better" brakes to do? The stock brakes and pads are fine for street use - if you want less dust and you don't track the car, then Hawk ceramic pads would be a good bet. For moderate track (road track) use the stock setup is still good. Heavier track use and you run in to the stock pads not lasting very long, to the point with very heavy track use (especially on certain tracks) where you absolutely need track pads. While track pads are available for the stock calipers, the padlet design is just not equipped to handle a lot of heat so at that point a BBK may be called for. Be careful to make sure the selected BBK will fit behind your wheels. Either Stoptech or Brembo's are fine - there are folks that swear by either one (and hate the other). Personally, I do 12-20 track days per year, mostly at a track that is not too demanding on brakes. I'm running DBA 4000 slotted one-piece rotors up front, stock rotors in the back and Hawk HP+ pads. I also have an extension on my brake air duct to bring the flow to the edge of the rotor.
