Leaking engine mount - Z06Vette.com

Discovered a few drips of oil on the floor under the right front side of the car. I thought it may be an oil pan leak, but to my surprise, it turns out that it is an engine mount.

I didn't even realize that the engine mounts had liquid in them, and after doing some research found leaking engine mounts to be a sign of a mount at the end of its life.

Therefore, I am considering ordering the Pdaft engine mounts for the Z, but does anyone have any experience with these or other mounts, and have a recommendation?

Look at Hinson urethane mounts. Less $ and a good middle ground between stock and the solid Pfadt.

At your suggestion, the Hinson's (engine and transmission mounts) are in the car, what a difference. Thank you for the suggestion. I didn't realize how soft my other mounts had gotten, it is like a whole new car.

A word to the rest of you, my mechanic said that he is seeing engine mount leaks increase as these cars are getting older, he had a Vette and a CTS-V in for the same thing while my car was there. So keep an eye on them!!!
