I have the standard painted wheels (QL9 was on constraint when my order went in). Every set of polished wheels I've seen now (four different cars...all of them brand new on the dealer lots) have all looked like crap on the quality of the polishing. In some areas, it looks dull and pitted....very rough too. The polishing didn't look "even" to me. Definitely NOT worth the $1295 in my opinion.

I wouldn't recommend getting the painted wheels unless you plan on replacing them. They cheapen the cars looks.

I haven't seen a bad pair myself yet. My dealer is one of the large ones too, so I got to compare them in person.

Yes, I have polished wheels and they look great.

Polished Wheels look nice

My polished wheels look very nice. I have found no such defects that are mentioned.

Now, son, there are some rules when you write in English:

1) Sentences start with a Capital letter.
2) The rest of the letters in the sentence are not capitalized.
3) Use a space after a period.
4) Proper spelling helps, i.e.: "website", "ordered", "received", "crappy".

These rules have evolved in order to make it easier for the rest of us to read your post. Won't you please cooperate?

TIA.

I haven't noticed any defects in my polished wheels. I have seen other types of wheels that are polished to a higher luster, but I like the look of my polished wheels. To me, they are definitely worth more than $1295 over the painted wheels.

I agree with Axel. I like the look of my polished wheels. They look good on a black Z06!

My polished wheels are not what I expected for $1200, but I think they still greatly improve the looks of the car over what the painted ones on the LMB car look like.

Another option:
Get the standard painted wheels and apply the $1200 towards these:

HRE's normally cost in the $4K-$8K range. $1200 would be a nice downpayment I would guess....

Yeah Mike. Then you have the stockers for your track tires and the HRE's for street use.

Couldn't you fellas just buy the painted wheels and send them out to a local polisher? Bet you'd get the job done for less than 1/2 the price of factory option. Way back, when I first got my 01 Z a friend and local tire store owner quoted me $ 400.00 to have the factory wheels polished and remounted on the car.

I'm sorry, you're invading my territory.

I have the concession on sarcastic and snarky off-topic replies.

Even though you are perfectly correct in this particular case.
