You need an unlock kit I'm told so the nav can be used while the car is moving. These have inputs for add'l video and audio like the ipod. They also allow you to watch DVDs. I saw one for my GMC on JPcustoms.com

Lockpick makes a product that allows for this. I believe that you need a tech II to enable this option.

Google "Corvette Lockpick" and you will find the answer you seek. The manufacturer's name is Coastaletech and you want the Gen 4 Lockpick kit.

ONSTAR ON SCREEN DIALING UNLOCKED

COMPLETE PLUG-N-PLAY HARNESS, 12V ACCESSORY OUTPUT AND VIDEO CONNECTION INCLUDED FOR ADDITIONAL VIDEO INPUT - REAR VIEW CAMERA, BABY CAM OR TO MAKE A VIDEO INPUT ON VEHICLES WHICH DO NOT HAVE DVD PLAY CAPABILITY OR AUX INPUTS

Tech II is not a radio - it's the hand-held diagnostic computer used by dealers and some other service techs (about $3000 to buy one).

Oh Buddy!!!! I am all over this.

Has anyone here put this into their C6 with nav?? Would love to see a few pics.

Did you see that you can use the OnStar microphone & factory speakers as a hands free integration via bluetooth for the cell?? Oh yeah! And, it looks like an iPhone will bring up the personal info on the nav screen (and photo?) of the caller in your address book!! That is slick.

Re: Reverse Camera direct plug into NAV screen?

i was asking others around my town about this, could you order a new cam like the one on the Escalade?? and then have it installed, and unlocked at the dealer? god that would be awesome, i can't see anything out my back window either (tint) but lets face it, the way you sit you cant look down and behind. camera would be great for making sure i dont hit my exhaust tips..

Re: Reverse Camera direct plug into NAV screen?

NO GO ON THIS ONE.

Just got off the phone with coastaletech. Their lockpick only gives iPod features to the Corvette nav unit. There is NO support for backup camera or unlocking of other features in the Vette. They support other GM products, but NOT the corvette.

I have been doing some searching, but have come up empty handed on C6 related products. Anyone have more luck???
