Rough idle ?

Has anyone with the new Z06 experienced some rough idling (warm) engine, enough to cause the car to vibrate ?
What would be the reason(s) for this ?
Thanks,
Mike

Only very vibration. Nothing I would take it in for. To me, it's amazing they can get a 505 hp 427 to idle like it does.

It seems like a miss that is noticeable especially when engine is warm and cause the car to vibrate at idle (600 rpm)...

Are you saying that the miss "clans up" once you get above 1000 RPM?

No, the miss is there at higher rpm, but less noticeable, at idle the engine seems to skip a bit, has that twitch that shakes the car at idle, also the exhaust sound is not even, this is largely gone while driving.

Sounds like a plug wire isn't connected.

FWIW these cars shake a little... I mean you have a 500+ hp NA motor!

When I first got my '01 I thought all kinds of things were wrong... the sweing machine noise of the valvetrain, the injector noise, the shaking at idle, the chattering at idle with the clutch out, the death rattle if you turned the car off w/ the clutch out! Thank god for car forums =)

Yeh, I wish...
I'm just checking if others have the same problem before taking it to the dealer; there are'nt any other new Z06 around to compare with, but I don't think it supposed to idle like a dragster; besides that, the car, just broken-in, runs well. The problem was there since day one.
Thanks for the help fellows.
