See the LS7 being built

Was just paging thru Chevy High Performance Magazine Aug.2005, which has been lying around for a little while, and noticed an article describing the hand assembly process of the new LS7 with pictures.

Interesting to see the oil pan with the scavenge pump. It's like no other pan I've ever seen. Interesting reading.

Here is the magazine web site although I couldn't link the article:

Hope this wasn't a repost....

The LS7 505 HP engine is built at this new facility in Wixom, Mi. The Performance Build Center.

Yeah,That was a good write up about the LS7 mill, and the new GM Powertrain Performance Build Center.
There is a similar article in the July/August 2005 issue of GM High-Tech Performance magazine.Anyone interested in the C6 Z06,would do well to pick up copies of these two fine magazines.

In the GMHTP,issue they said "The titanium rods are masterpieces".

IMHO,that about sums up the way I feel about the new LS7...a Masterpiece!!!

Kudo's to Primedia, for putting this out.
And Kudo's to GM's PBC, for all the great work they are doing there!

It won't be long now folks
