Stock ZO6, Is this the best #'s out there

I had my car dynoed for the first time with the car totally stock and the first dyno pull was 470 rwhp & 442 rwtq . I am soooooooo happy

Temp was approx 70-75 degrees
91 octane
12600 miles on c6 zo6
hood open
The car is early production 37th one built for retail
No tune , no nuttin yet

on the second pull ( I have the LGs by pass switch ) I had the butterfly valves open from the get go and look what I got 471/446

Thanks to the crew at A&A engines for the dyno

Looking good. Not sure what butterfly valves do open/closed, but numbers weren't that much off...i sthat good or bad? Imagine what a solid tune will get now.....

Wow, my car is right up there with the new C6 Z's! (HP/TQ wise)

Strong for stock. Are headers and a tune next?

Very strong for stock! I've seen 453-455 usually. Mine dyno'd 445/415. I only had 2900 miles on it though. I wonder if the LS7's really make more power the more miles on them?

I have heard that the earlier Z's are putting out more power than the later ones. My vin is 1032, so I'd imagine mine was in the first 150 Z's built. Mine put down 460/430. Not nearly as impressive as yours, but stronger than quite a few.

Zlicious just got his dyno'd at 455 on a MUSTANG Dyno, and had a Z06 with headers, exhaust, and tune dyno only 465 the same day on the same dyno. Sounds like he's got quite a beast as well, and will be taking it to a Dynojet soon. I'd imagine he'll have similar numbers to yours. His is also an early production Z.

Congrats....I'm jealous

Try the dyno with the hood closed boy does it make a difference It looks like the later models of Z's have a more agressive tune that drops the horsepower somewhat. Have not seen great gains from headers but you will see improvement with cold air induction. A tune will benefit the most combined with cold air system.
