surge at part throttle

My 2008 Z06 with 400 miles has a slight surge at part throttle at constant speeds. If I'm in third gear at 35 mph on a level road and hold the throttle slightly open to maintain speed, the car feels like it's bucking or surging. Anyone out there experiencing this? Thanks

Thanks, good to know I'm not the only one with this problem.

Re: surge at part throttle

I am glad I am not the only one either. I also noticed the same issue. My particular case is that my car has been parked for about 4-6 hours after I started work. Then I go to lunch and I must maintain a speed of 30mph for a steady 2 miles inside a military base. During this 30 mph period(right after the car has been parked for 4-6 hours) the engine hesitates at partial throtle.

I think it has to do with not being arm up completely.

Surging can be a lot of things but usually fuel/air ratio condition. Your car unless modified shouldn't BUCKING? That's pretty extreme. The LS7 will give a slight surge bone stock but not bucking. Mine slightly surges at low RPM's below 3000. I try to keep my cruising RPM's about 2500. When I FLOOR it there is no surge issues just low RPM in lower gears. If in doubt take it back to the dealer especially if it's bucking. Good luck to you.

Re: surge at part throttle

By "bucking" I meant a slight surge; almost as if the fuel is being shut off and on. It is very slight and barely noticable. It happends with the throttle barely cracked open. Apparently others are experiencing the same thing. Just a matter of semantics.
