Threw a cam in my Z

I had AR headers, a K&N, Vette-Air ported intake and TB, a 160 and a tune on run 10, run 17 has the QM600 cam and retuned. What a monster!

Re: Threw a cam in my Z

So you paid someone to put a cam in the car? Or did you actually throw it in yourself?

Re: Threw a cam in my Z

I paid. Take a look at the GM book and you'll see why. They say 18 hours, gotta take off the oil pan to remove the two oil pumps and the pan acts like the pickup, only 7 mm tolerance to get the pan/pumps on right to get pressure. Never mind pulling the condensor, which requires recharging the AC, or the oil cooler, the tranny cooler, the PS cooler, the radiator, the rack and pinion. Ay Caramba!
