Tire Choices?

There seems to be no tire choices beyond OE for the C6 Z06. Has anyone found any reasonable options?

Michelin has both runflat and non-runflat in the appropriate sizes for the street and Hoosier makes track tires in two compounds.

Is it true the Michelins perform as well, if not better than the Eagle F1's for a lower price?

Just curious.

I've been to Michelin's web, as well as Tire Rack - none of their premium performance tires (PS2 or Sport Cup, or even Pilot Sport) have the right size/diameter combination for the rear. Did you find something I'm not aware of? I intend to mix-use them street/track.

Have seen the Hoosiers - they'd be the ticket if I was trailering.

I'm going with the Pilot Sports on my Z. They are supposed to be second to none for street use.

Not many options for the stock size wheels. If you were to move up in wheel sizes to 19/20 you would be able to go with PS2s. Not much difference in price for an excellent tire. Oh, and better than run-craps.

The Michelins are available in a 345-30/19. This tire fits perfectly on the 19x12 OEM wheel or 19x13 aftermarket wheel.
