Tire spin at launch with TC on

Is this normal? Maybe it's clutch issues at a launch, but the tires also break loose if I go over even a slight rise / crest in the road (in 1st gear at full or near full throttle). The stability control is working great as the car just goes straight and shows no sign of yaw.

The T/C is meant to be less intrusive.

Not sure if its normal, but my car was retuned by LPE and now the T/C allows me to spin more than when I was stock. I'm not sure exactly what they changed, but I like it.

Normal, yes you have 505 Hp

Yes this is normal, You have 505Hp. The traction control is not completely killing the power, little wheels spin is good, the right foot should control the rest.
Just try it on competition mode, will experience what wheels spin is about.

Yeah, I wonder how many miles per tire I get in competition mode.

Thanks for the answers all. What's most impressive is the stability control, the car just goes where you "aim" it, regardless of the wheel spin.

I also own a 2001 Suzuky Hayabusa, where the issue there is keeping the front tire on the ground (I weigh 200lbs, so even leaning over the bars, the front end still comes up at about 40 to 45mph in 1st gear, which redlines at 81mph). With lighter riders, the front end will stay down if they lean over the bars. However there's no play in high-end bikes, and even if the front end lifts, the bike just goes straight in the direction it's pointed, so the Z06 is giving me a similar experience but with wheelspin instead of front end lift, really impressed with the stablity of high end vehicles these days.
