vararam and hot engine

installed a Vararam, cam, headers and have questions about engine temps.

Its hot as crap GA and Fl and have noticed that around town in traffic can achieve 225 to 230 degrees with AC on. Never paid much attention before intake was installed. I have the 160 thermostat but its no help.

What sort of temps have other Z owners noticed in low speed with ac on without a shroud hacking intake?

Re: vararam and hot engine

Did you modify your PCM settings to turn the fans on sooner?

Re: vararam and hot engine

at the track today our water temp was pushing 260 towards the end of our run session. with the oil temp at 280. But this may be due to rubber in the radiator.
