I ran a poll yesterday asking for advice on what color I should go with. After seeing that still shot of bjaber's VY Z, the case is now closed.

I called my rep and advised to him to keep the order as Velocity Yellow.

Nice vid, but if you ever do it again, can you have the cameraman point to the speedometer and zoom in?..

Cool! Glad to hear I have an "influence" on others.

You're gonna love VY.... you get a TON of attention. Surprisingly, I have not had a lot of attention from police (probably because yellow is not *that* exotic of a color, but still eye-catching).

HA! My coworker actually tried, but the g-forces kept moving his Canon digital camera (which also records video).

Next time I'll try to get a more steady hand holding the camera.

But you want to see how fast it was, just give it a romp up to 6500 RPM's in 1st and 2nd and then see what the speedo says. I actually shut it down in 2nd gear around 5500 rpm's (give or take a few).

I know someone would say that... I actually put it into Neutral. I was running out of street to try for 3rd grear and 100 mph. Probably would have landed me in jail had I got nabbed!

You can almost see that I was coming up on a white car ahead of me.
