Well...it happened..

The rear edge of the roof is up 1/4"... Took her into criswell today and I'm driving a cobalt now...

The 10 clips needed to secure the top are back ordered...Gee...the C6Z06 has only been out since last September and chevy is into the next model year of the car. A known problem and the parts are backordered?
At the Plant seminar at the Fest, Mr. Cooksey said we could call his office if there was a problem that couldn't be fixed. where did I put that number?

That really sucks. Hope the clips come in fast for you.
Good luck with the sale.

Do you think they would give a Cobalt owner a Z to drive until his car was repaired? I can feel your pain clear over here. Do you know if the removable top on the Coupe has the same exterior panel and if it does are the retainning clips the same item? Just a thought, but if the clips are the same why couldn't they remove the clips from a Coupe they have on the lot and then it can sit around waiting for the parts and you would have your car.

Did this problem get fixed before 06 production ended? Is it fixed on 07's?

I suspect the top issues were handled by the same guys that did the steering wheel lock concept/fixes on the C5's.........

I'll gladly take that defective car off your hands Mike for pennies on the dollar.
