what a wake up call

just picked up the Z from Vector mtr. sports here in Detroit from getting mods done.before #s on dyno were 429rwhp, after application of a tune, killer bee,cam,headers,high flow cats,x pipe(and a $check$)dyno #s are 511 rwhp at 6300rpm car feels strong and smooth and sounds tough mid range power is day and night especially at over 4000 rpm . all seems well couldnt be happier would recommend.

yes, kinda itchin to see how it lays it down ,with that kinda power what do ya think would be a fair qtr mile time or what should i expect any speculation?assuming of course i can drive and control it lol

Well, one of the best drivers out there has about your rwhp and is turning out very low 10's (that is with a stock bottom end 346). If I was you... and could pull off anywhere from 10.9 to 10.5.... I would be very happy. Really, it all depends on your sixty foot time and what kind of air you are in, when you are running all motor. Be satisfied even with some mid elevens and then work down from there. It will see 10's if you keep at it (unless you can already drive like Robz and the boy's and spit some 10's out right away)!!

Congrats!!! i just got mine back a couple weeks ago from Livernois Motorsports in Detroit, I too am very happy with the new mods!! Only thing i think i have different from you is a Stage 2 cam.. Enjoy cause we both know it won't last here in michigan..4 months and we're screwed!!!

after having the mods done i find myself drawn to drive the z more than ever cant seem to leave it alone what a fun ride and your right about the 4 months definatley gonna take advantage of our small window here

Congrats on the new "found" power!! That's a nice jump.......I'd say you can really feel 80 rwhp in the seat !!! I'm sure the tires could tell the difference too!
