I have come on board for an 06..I bought an 01 and have not had even ONE problem, i mean nothing!!! Not back to the dealer since the delivery! I have pondered this for months and called my dealer and confirmed the first order for the new beast...I am hoping the torque will be at 500lbs on the 06...It is exciting.....

I'm #2 on my dealer list. I just hope they get the allocation. I believe the fact they were allocated 6 z-16's is a good indicator.
BTW - I, for one, hope the price is near 70k. To me it means that the car is more than just an engine upgrade and some slightly tuned suspension (like our current cars). Don't get me wrong, I love my 03Z but, let's face it, it really is a base C-5 with a few minor upgrades. Give me oil/tranny coolers, give me real brakes, give me a seat that isn't a detriment to the car on the track! I really don't care if it looks all that different... I just want it to behave very different!

I have a deposit on one, #2 on the dealers list. But I will wait until after the "showing" in January before deciding whether to buy one or get another Viper.

Unfortunately I got in late but I have put down my deposit to be able to preorder, I'm #69 on Rick Daniels list.
Like others, depends on the final configuration, but if the final copy is anything like we have been hearing, and assuming GM doesn't try to gouge us, I'm pushing forward next year.
Nahhhh. I'll do like my 04 Z and get the final production year of the C6 Z06 way down the road. Hopefully it won't be a lemon like my current one.
I plan on buying one, but I'm going to wait until the initial hype blows over, however long that takes. So I may end up having to wait for the 07. I think if they're priced near 70K I don't think there will be as many people jumping on the band wagon, but I could be way off. I have prospective rendering in black lowered as my desktop background and I drool over it whenever I sit at my computer.
1st on the list at my local dealer, deposit in for almost 18 months now!
However, when they show the car in January, if it is not all it should be as in 485hp, like they did with the on 01' Z06, then I'll wait till they break the 500hp#.
